By supporting grassroots change directly, as little as $4 can literally change a life. For example, providing local leader Lucy Odiwa with $4 means she can provide a solution to period poverty for one Tanzanian young woman so she can attend school every day of the month for the next 3 years.
And a larger donation has the power to break the cycle of poverty. For example, you could back a leader to provide district-wide accesss to sanitary products, to create a sustainable business opportunity for women in their village or to provide a clean water source for an entire community.
